Budget hotels may be found in both modern and historical areas. While the bulk of 5-star hotels is concentrated in modernized areas like Taksim, Beyoglu, Sisli, and Besiktas, the 4-star hotels are primarily concentrated in the Eminonu and Sultanahmet areas of the old peninsula, as well as Galata.
